A rack is a straight toothed bar that meshes with a gear to turn rotation into linear motion. Our ground racks are finished on CNC gear-grinding machines with all faces ground and tip relief — suited to high-speed running. Ground and milled helical racks, matching helical gears and standard spur gears are kept in stock.
